Every year on 5th September , India celebrates Teachers’ Day , paying tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan—our nation’s second President, a philosopher, and most importantly, a great teacher who believed that “teachers should be the best minds in the country.” For generations, teaching in India was seen as a noble but underpaid profession.
